FILM and TV

Rad's dream of being an actor started when he was a boy. His father responsibly steered him towards a study of architecture but the dream of acting never left him. He applied for and won a place at the prestigious National Academy of Drama in  Cracow.  He quit his architecture degree to train to be an actor, delighted that he had been given a chance to begin to make his dream a reality. Upon graduation from the National Academy of Drama, he was lucky enough to appear in numerous films and television programmes including "Mr. Virgin" directed by P.Angerman for which he was voted Poland's Best Newcomer in 2004 (in Poland's equivalent of the Oscars). Living in England over the last few years, he has been privileged  to work with Ken Loach on his feature film "These Times" and played a featured role in David Cronenberg's film "Eastern Promises" as well as "Harry Brown" directed by Daniel Barber.

He also recently worked in television on "Taggart", "The Bill" and "Dr.Who". He played guest leads in the TV series "Waking the Dead" and "Dalziel and Pascoe", both for the BBC.

Currently residing in London, Rad works in both the UK and Poland.
